FuturesElite Consistency Rules
The FuturesElite consistency rule is the single most misunderstood part of the evaluation. In short, no single trading day can make up too large a share of your total profit, and you need a minimum number of active trading days before a payout clears. New to this? Our consistency rule guide and minimum trading days explainer break it down with worked examples, or run your numbers through our consistency rule calculator. Here is exactly how the FuturesElite consistency rule works in 2026:
- Best-day cap: No single trading day may account for more than 30–50% of total profit (varies by program, see firm's official terms for the exact threshold).
- Minimum trading days: Most evaluation tiers require at least 4–10 active trading days before a payout can be requested.
- Position sizing: Disproportionate position sizes vs your historical trades may trigger consistency-rule reviews.
- Repeat performance: The firm expects sustained, repeatable performance, single-day windfalls won't qualify for early payouts.
- Exact thresholds and program-specific consistency rules are documented on the firm's official site and may change. Always re-verify before purchasing.
FuturesElite Rules
Traders operating under the Prime tier on a 50K account can hold up to 3 standard contracts, with alternatives of up to 3 mini contracts or 30 micro contracts for smaller exposure management.
The Elite tier permits 4 standard contracts on a 50K account, or traders may opt for 4 mini or 40 micro contracts to adjust their position sizing strategy.
Instant accounts beginning at 25K allow for 2 standard contracts, with the flexibility to trade 2 mini or 20 micro contracts instead.
During the evaluation phase, a single day's profits cannot exceed 50% of cumulative profits earned throughout the challenge period.
Once funded under the Prime plan, traders must ensure no single trading day generates profits equal to or exceeding 40% of their total accumulated profit.
For Instant plan traders, profits from any single day cannot be equal to or greater than 20% of total profits, maintaining consistent trading behavior.
Instant plan payouts use a tiered consistency model: the first and second payouts require a 20% consistency score, the third requires 25%, and the fourth increases to 30%.
Traders are restricted from entering positions within 2% of CME-established price limits to prevent execution issues near market extremes.
While dollar cost averaging strategies are permitted, they cannot serve as your primary or dominant trading methodology.
Purchasing and aggressively trading multiple challenge accounts simultaneously in hopes of passing at least one is explicitly prohibited.
Fully automated trading systems, artificial intelligence, and bot-driven strategies are not allowed on these accounts.
Copying trades from other traders' accounts is forbidden, though traders may freely replicate strategies across their own multiple accounts without limitation.

Scaling Plan & Premium Programme
- Account growth: Funded accounts typically scale by 25% (or fixed-step tiers) each time the trader hits the firm's profit + consistency milestones.
- Profit-split upgrade: Scaling tiers often unlock an improved profit split (e.g. 80% → 90%) on the funded account.
- Maximum capital cap: Most firms cap scaled capital at $1M–$2M per trader; some run a separate "Premium / Supreme" track for very high performers.
- Reset / breach handling: Hitting drawdown typically resets your scaling progress. Most firms offer a one-time discounted reset.
- Exact thresholds, scale-up cycle length, and Premium-Programme terms are firm-specific. See the AI Summary above for the latest values on file, or verify on FuturesElite's official site.
