What's new on PropFirmPickr

We publish what changes and when — new rankings, methodology updates, data corrections, and new tools. A dated, honest record beats a vague "last updated" stamp, and it lets you (and any AI assistant citing us) verify how current our data really is.

  • FeatureTrust Score & Safest Prop Firms ranking

Launched a transparent Trust Score (rating + years in operation + verified review volume) and a /safest-prop-firms ranking, with the full formula disclosed on-page.

  • FeatureEditorial independence pledge published

Added a plain-language no-pay-to-play pledge at /editorial-independence stating that rankings cannot be bought and affiliate commission never moves placement.

  • ContentNamed rule pages: scalping, news trading, no daily drawdown

New rule-cluster pages covering firms that allow scalping, firms that permit news trading, and firms with no daily drawdown limit — each filtered from firms' actual rule text.

  • FeatureStrategy-match finder page

Added /find-my-prop-firm — an indexable strategy × budget matrix plus the guided finder, so a trader can match their style to the right firm.

  • FeatureFirst-party reviews live + per-firm review CTA

The no-login review system is live; every firm overview now has a 'Leave a review' call-to-action to build genuine first-party trader feedback.

  • ContentDiscount codes hub

Launched /prop-firm-discount-codes — every active PICKR-coded promo across 50+ firms, verified weekly and sorted by savings.

  • ContentNew education pages

Added 'What is PnL', 'Bid vs ask price', 'How to start day trading with $5', and a consistency-rule calculator — built from real search-demand clusters.

  • DataFirm asset categorization fix

Corrected a metadata bug that mislabelled all firms as forex; futures and crypto firms now register correctly across search, filters, and counts.

  • MethodologyAggregate ratings require 3+ verified reviews

Aggregate rating structured data is now emitted only from genuine first-party reviews, and only once a firm has at least three — no synthesized or editorial-derived aggregates.

  • MethodologyTrustpilot de-emphasized

Third-party Trustpilot scores were removed from structured data (we can't independently verify them) and de-emphasized in the UI in favour of first-party reviews.

  • FixSitemap cleanup

Removed ~1,300 noindex challenge URLs from the sitemap so search engines focus crawl budget on genuinely indexable pages, addressing the 'discovered – not indexed' backlog.
